Today I received “Learning Scenarios for Social and Cultural Change. Bildung through Academic Teaching” – with my article in it!<\/p><\/div>\n

What a surprise! I just got mail at Danube-University Krems. Inside the envelope I found a Thank You- Note by the Lara Siewke from Linnaeus University in Sweden and a book.\u00a0I couldn’t believe my eyes but the article I wrote together with Peter Baumgartner was published! I am really grateful and happy. Thank you Lara for all your support, it was great working with you.<\/p>\n

About the Book<\/h2>\n

The book is actually an anthology, the 82 anthology of “Erziehungskonzeptionen und Praxis”, called “Learning Scenarios for Social and Cultural Change. Bildung<\/em> through Academix Teaching.” and you can order it here<\/strong><\/a> on Amazon.<\/p>\n

About the Article<\/h2>\n

In this article, Peter Baumgartner and I apply a theoretical model of informal learning, which mostly results in tacit knowing, on validation procedures for informal learning. The article focusses especially on teacher education and how learning at the workplace could be validated. Furthermore, we reported about the VALERU<\/a><\/strong> project as well as VINCE project<\/strong><\/a>, where we both are\/were team members.<\/p>\n

Peter Baumgartner and I wrote the article based on a presentation at a conference taking place at Linnaeus University, “Education is Relation not Output?”<\/strong><\/a>. You can read more about our presenation and check out our slides in my blogpost<\/a> about it.<\/p>\n
