I&#8217;ll be happy if I could share the experiences from VALERU to a wider audience. Now we are looking for funding to finance the participation at the conference so Helmy can present the paper. This series of UNESCO-APEID International Conferences, held since 1995, has been recognized as an important platform for policy dialogue and information\/knowledge sharing on development-oriented education innovations and exemplary practices in and beyond the Asia and Pacific region.This year, the objectives of the 18th UNESCO-APEID International Conference are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase knowledge on how quality is understood in education;<\/li>\n<li>Showcase innovative approaches and practices that improve the quality of education;<\/li>\n<li>Enhance understanding of the assessment, monitoring and evaluation of the quality of education;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate collaboration and networking to improve the quality of education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eminent speakers and paper presenters will share their rich experiences in linking theory and practice. Policy makers, academicians, researchers, school leaders and administrators, educators, parents, students and representatives from international organizations, local communities and the private sector attending the Conference will be able to interact and engage in stimulating discussions about policies, strategies, approaches, tools and resources for quality education.
