Keeping up with continuous professional learning is vital. I use innovative learning and teaching methods to support self-directed learning and enable individuals to find learning pathways, that are suitable and effective. I am interested in how learning processes are embedded and emergent in the work processes of individual employees, teams, and communities of practice.<br>I am at connecting my research and development activities to societal and economic challenges like digital transformation, climate change, and diversity issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a lecturer, I aim to apply and share my research insights through a research-based teaching approach. I currently teach &#8220;Agile Development of Learning Designs&#8221; (6 ECTS) in the &#8220;eEducation&#8221; study program at the University for Continuing Education, preparing students to create impactful learning solutions for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Educational background<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to my <strong>informal and work-based education<\/strong> during several internships at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffg.at\/\">Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG<\/a>, an internship at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.advantageaustria.org\/fi\/oesterreich-in-finland\/Buero-Helsinki.en.html\">commercial section of the Austrian embassy in Finland<\/a>, working as an entrepreneur in my early twenties or working full-time at Danube University, there are 3 major <strong>formal education<\/strong> steps I took in the past 10 years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In October 2013, I graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where I studied&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wu.ac.at\/en\/programs\/bachelors-programs\/business-economics-and-social-sciences\/branch-of-study\/national-economy-socioeconomics\/\">National Economy &amp; Socioeconomics<\/a>, specializing in media &amp; communication and social policy.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After finishing my bachelor&#8217;s study at WU, I started my studies at a teacher&#8217;s college,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kphvie.ac.at\/en\/home.html\">the University College of Teacher Education Vienna\/Krems<\/a>&nbsp;(KPH), with a focus on K12 pupils and eLearning and ePortfolios, which I finished in June 2018. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In January 2019 I finished my master&#8217;s studies in Applied Knowledge Management at the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fh-burgenland.at\/\">University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (FH Burgenland).<\/a>&nbsp;My master&#8217;s thesis is about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isabellgru.eu\/index.php\/2019\/08\/09\/eine-mustersammlung-fur-feedback\/\">patterns for formative assessment in ePortfolio-work in Higher Education.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Field of Research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>My research interests include <strong>design for learning<\/strong>, <strong>educational technology, online, hybrid, and hyflex learning<\/strong>, <strong>work-based and experiential learning <\/strong>as well as <strong>vocational education<\/strong>, which combines theory and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My current research projects focus on the following aspects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Professional noticing in various professions and fields (medical, teaching, entrepreneurship, diversity issues in organisations) as a conceptional basis for VR\/AR applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning-outcome and competence-based learning design for continuing education and staff development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning and development strategies for organizations facing digital and social transformation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operationalization of competence and competence frameworks (modeling)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Critical analysis and evaluation of eLearning environments and digital tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choosing and implementing suitable digital tools, platforms, and functions to support learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building bridges between industry, businesses, and higher education through work-based and work-integrated learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validation of non-formal and informal learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find out more about the projects I am currently working on in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isabellgru.eu\/index.php\/projects\/\">&#8220;Project&#8221;-Section<\/a> of my Blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Picture Gallery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p> My projects are involving many people from people all over the world. I love traveling, meeting them, communicating online, and working in virtual teams.
