Daten, Informationen, Wissen – Wo sind die Unterschiede?\u00a0Inspiriert von der Blogparade der\u00a0Bildungspunks zum Thema Datenablage und au\u00dferdem durch die Aufgabenstellung von Thomas\u00a0Konar im Fach Wissensorganisation in #MAWM16<\/a> \u00a0zu demselben Thema schreibe ich diesen Blogpost \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Daten? Information? Wissen?<\/h2>\n

Die Aufgabe von Thomas Konar lautet: “Beschreiben Sie wie Sie sich hinsichtlich Informationen, Dokumenten, Ablagestrukturen und\/oder anderen Informationsquellen organisieren. Arbeiten Sie relevante positive und negative Punkte heraus (was gelingt wie gut oder schlecht \u2026)”<\/p>\n

Die EduPunks haben gefragt: “Daten-Ablage: im Internet, auf USB, Evernote & Co, sonst wo? Was bringt welche Vorteile!?”<\/p>\n

Und ich denk mir: “Hey, die fragen ja im Grunde dasselbe!<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Aber einen kleinen Unterschied gibt es schon: Einmal ist von Information die Rede, einmal von Daten. Sicher ist sicher, ich schau mir das lieber genauer an. Also, deswegen hier die Wissenspyramide<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Daten – das ist das Rohmaterial<\/strong>, das erst zur Information wird, wenn Bedeutung zugemessen wird. Durch Vernetzung mit eigenen Erfahrungen, wird die Information zu Wissen. Soweit, so gut. Ich w\u00fcrde in diesem Sinne sagen, dass ich wohl sowohl Daten, Informationen und Wissen ablege. Aber jede Gattung der Wissenspyramide verlangt anderes. Ist ganz spannend.<\/p>\n

Was lege ich wie ab?<\/h3>\n

Daten<\/strong> lege ich schon auch ab, aber das sind eher Ergebnisse aus Umfragen, un die werden dann direkt zB in R, SPSS, etc. eingepflegt um mehr daraus zu machen.\u00a0Informationen<\/strong> lege ich schon \u00f6fter ab.<\/p>\n

Und ob man Wissen<\/strong> ablegen kann…ich denke man kann Ged\u00e4chtnisst\u00fctzen ablegen. Man gibt sich ja viel M\u00fche das Wissen explizit kommunizieren bzw. zu verbalisieren, aber Wissen ist wohl eher etwas, was in einem “drin” steckt, das Verstehen findet im Kopf statt. Hier verweise ich gerne auf Polanyi<\/a>, der viel \u00fcber “Personal Knowledge” geschrieben hat.\u00a0Explizites Wissen kann niemals das implizite Wissen ersetzen, das sich Einf\u00fchlen, das Durchdringen der Materie, die Verinnerlichung<\/strong>. Und nun sind wir im Exkurs innerhalb des Exkurses angelangt…also zur\u00fcck zur eigentlichen Fragestellung: Ich denke noch immer, dass die beiden Fragestellungen zumindest ganz \u00e4hnlich sind und unter Daten oft Informationen verstanden werden<\/strong>. Einmal spritzig formuliert und einmal als Hausarbeit formuliert \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
